5/21: 1st Annual Greater Northeast Beer Festival is Coming to Town!
A new beer festival this summer will add to the many reasons Philadelphians continually and adamantly refer to their city as “the best beer city in the country”.
The 1st Annual Greater Northeast Philadelphia Beer Festival will take place on May 21st at Cannstatter Volkfest Verein at 9130 Academy Road in the Northeast section of the city. Sixty beers will be available at the event from breweries including but not limited to Yards, Dogfish Head, Brooklyn, Victory, Flying Fish, and Sierra Nevada. Live bands, headlined by locals On Display, will be performing throughout the day. In addition, each attendee will receive their own festival pint glass. Each taster will get to vote on their favorite beers, whether they are totally inebriated or not.
