Event: Tsar Power
What: Russian Imperial Stout Fest
Where: Khyber Pass Pub, 2nd & Chestnut (Old City)
When: Saturday, March 19th at Noon
The Khyber is bidding the Winter season adieu with a brigade of Russian Imperial Stouts. Featured brews are PBC’s Shackamaximum, Weyerbacher’s Bourbon barrel aged Heresy, Avery Mephistopheles, Terrapin Big Daddy Vladdy, and many more.
Event: Philadelphia Union 2011 Kickoff Party
What: Party for the start of the Philly Union’s season
Where: Kildare’s Irish Pub, Gay & Main (Manayunk)
When: Saturday, March 19th, 7-11pm
The Union takes on the Houston Dynamo. The game will be shown on their 8 foot projector screen with giveaways and raffles. Drinks specials are $4 Guinness pints, $4 Jager Shots, $2 Miller High Lifes.
