Weekend Picks May 26th-29th

Thursday, May 26th

Craft Beer Dinner with Sixpoint Brewery

What: Food and Beer pairing dinner
Where: Chifa Restaurant (707 Chestnut St.)
When: Thursday, May 26th. 7-9:30pm

$65 Per person gets you a four course feast paired with delicious craft beers from Sixpoint brewing. Reservations are required and can be made here.

Schneider Beer Dinner

What: Four course beer dinner
Where: Brauhaus Schmitz (7th & South)
When: Thursday, May 26th, 7-11pm.

$75 (tax and gratuity included) buys you 5 draft and cask Schneider’s beers, and a four course menu from Brahaus’s Chef Jeremy Nolan and Schneider Brewery’s Josef Nagler. Reservations are required. Call (267) 909-8814 to make reservations.

Summer Happy Hour at Biba

What: Biba's New Happy Hour!
Where: Biba
When: Monday-Saturday, 4-6pm

This Friday, and Monday to Saturday all Summer long, Biba is providing you with a great affordable happy hour. From 4-6pm Monday-Saturday you can get select sparkling, white or rose wines for $5 a glass.

Memorial Day Party @ Marathon Patio Bar
What: $1 Drinks and other specials
Where: Marathon Patio Bar (19th and Market)
When: Friday, May 27th, 5-7pm.

Marathon will be serving $1 well drinks from 5-6pm, and $5 you-call-it drinks and sangria from 6pm-7pm. $2 cheese steak and chicken tender bites will be served from 5pm-8pm!


Saturday, May 28th

Memorial Day Weekend Wine Tasting

What: Wine tasting and picknicking
Where: Chaddsford Winery (Chester County. 632 Baltimore Pike, Chadds Ford PA)
When: Saturday-Monday, 12-6pm

If you’re willing to make a short drive out of the city to celebrate memorial day, Chaddsford Winery has just the thing. Wine tasting is just $10 and includes a souvenire glass. Bring your own food for a picnic or purchase some grub via Francesco Catering.

The winery is located just a few miles West of Philadelphia. Take I-95 South to 322 West for 7 miles, then left onto US 1.

Philadelphia Union Viewing Party

What: Philadelphia Union game
Where: Kildare’s, Gay & Main (Manayunk)
When: Saturday, May 28th, 12:30pm

Come out and support the Philadelphia Union soccer team as they take on Toronto! Game starts at 12:30 pm with $3 Miller High Life specials running all day.
 


Sunday, May 29th

Memorial Day Party at Drinkers West

What: Memorial Day Party
Where: Drinker’s West
When: Sunday, May 29th, 3pm-2am

Starting at 3pm there will be $1 Dogs/Tacos/Sliders and $.35 wings. From 3-11pm, "Beast" Light drafts are $1. $3 3-Olives drinkers from 9-11pm. For the brave of heart there is a taco eating contest at 7pm with a payout of $529 to the winner. There will also be music, prizes, and more.
