Brewfest 2011
What: Coffee beer tasting
Where: Mugshots Brewerytown, 2831 W. Girard Ave (Art Museum/Fairmount)
When: 6–8 PM, Thursday, October 20
All the beers at the tasting were brewed with beans from Mugshots’ supplier Counter Culture Coffee. There will be beers from Worstbrewing, St. Benjamin Brewing and Yards as well as a German style beer garden – to celebrate the season – snacks, and live jazz.
Philabundance Food Drive
What: Food donations for Harpoon brewery beer specials
Where: Old Eagle Tavern, Markle & Terrace (Manayunk)
When: 7 PM on Thursday, October 20 to Sunday, October 23
Old Eagle Tavern and Harpoon Brewing have teamed up with Philabundance – an organization devoted to hunger relief in the Delaware valley – to help gather food and raise funds for the less fortunate. This weekend (starting Thursday), head to Old Eagle Tavern in Manayunk and make a donation of food or money and receive $1 off Harpoon drafts for that evening (starting at 7 PM).
Philabundance has made a specific request for donations of canned: chili, tuna, beef stew, pasta, green beans, corn, and fruit; as well as macaroni and cheese, creamy peanut butter, jelly, breakfast cereal and hot cereal.

Omme-Dog-a-Gash Happy Hour
What: Tap takeover with Ommegang, Dogfish Head, and Allegash
Where: City Tap House, 40th & Walnut (University City)
When: 5 PM–Close
City Tap House is surrendering its many taps to three craft beer heavy hitters: Dogfish Head, Aellegash, and Ommegang breweries.
Saturday, October 22
Beer Barons to Homebrewers: Tour the Past. Taste the present
What: Tour and beer tasting
Where:
Tour: Laurel Hill Cemetery, 3822 Ridge Ave
Reception/Tasting: The Conservatory at West Laurel Hill Cemetery, 215 Belmont Ave
When: 1–5 PM, Saturday, October 22
Price: $25
The event takes you on an informative tour from brewery historian Rich Wagner of the cemetery and then to a beer tasting and reception afterwards. Participants are responsible for their own transportation from the cemetery to the Conservatory after.

Victory Village Breakfast
What: Breakfast/brunch with Victory’s “Victory Village Ale”
Where: Grey Lodge Pub, Frankford & Hawthorne (NE Philly)
When: 10 AM–1 PM, Saturday, October 22
Victory brewing and One Village Coffee have collaborated for a brown ale brewed with coffee beans. This Saturday, Grey Lodge Pub is pairing their brunch menu with the coffee infused beer and offering other favorite beers as well.

Pour Decision Sunday
What: Tattoo party with contests and specials

Think you have what it takes (or doesn’t take) to win a bad tattoo contest? Come to PYT Sunday and find out – or enter a Tuaca Liqeuor “shooters contest”. Celebrity tattoo artist Corey Miller will be there and will be giving away a free tattoo to the contest winner. Other prizes include: $150 from Northern Liberties Tattoo, $100 from Liberty Tattoo, and complimentary drink tickets.
