Thursday, November 10

Loco for LIOCO

What: California wines with french style
Where: Tria Fermentation School, Medical Arts Building 1601 Walnut St.
When: 6:30–8 PM, Thursday, November 10
Price: $60

Join Kevin O’Connor, Co-Founder of Lioco Wines, as he leads you through a tasting of his French styled, California wines.

Tickets are in short supply and can be purchased online via Tria Fermentation School.


Friday, November 11

2nd Annual Sixpoint Lounge

What: Tap takeover featuring Sixpoint Brewery
Where: City Tap House, 40th & Walnut (University City)
When: 9 PM–Close

The takeover will be held in City Tap House’s private tasting room and will feature rare Sixpoint brews such as Autumnation and Triple Sweet Action.

All American Day Happy Hour

What: Non-profit fundraiser/Happy Hour
Where: Yards Tasting Room, Delaware & Poplar (Fishtown)
When: 8–11 PM, Friday, November 11

In honor of Veteran’s Day, Yards Brewing is putting on a happy hour to raise money to send World War II vets to visit the memorials in Washington D.C. The event is $30 per person and features a free drink and happy hour specials.


Saturday, November 12

Craft Beer Express

What: Craft beer bar crawl
Where: Multiple
When: 11 AM–9 PM, Saturday, November 12
Price: $10, Pay as you go

The Craft Beer Express is a pub crawl that takes you to some of the best beer bars in the city; serving up some of the best craft beer around. For $10 you get access to bus shuttled that will transport you between the bars.

Choices on the loop include speccial “nitro” pours at Kraftwork, the annual Wet Hop Rodeo at Johnny Brenda’s, stouts and porters at The Institute, funky cheese and beer parings at Jose Pistola’s, autumnal labels at the P.O.P.E., 10 doppelbock beers at Brauhaus Schmitz and much much more. Space is limited, so snag your sudsy seat on the CBX while you still can.


Sunday, November 13

The Great Pumpkin Beer Dinner

What: Pumpkin themed beer dinner
Where: Hawthorne’s Biercafe, 11th & Fitzwater (South Philly)
When: 6:30–8:30 PM, Sunday, November 13
Price: $65 per person

Join Hawthorne’s as they celebrate not only an amazing beer dinner, but their one year anniversary. The four course pairing features: Wild Onion Pumpkin Ale, Southern Tier Pumking, Dogfish Head Punkin, Rock Art Imperial Stout and the Bruery’s Autumn Maple.

Reservations are required and can be made by calling their restaurant (215-627-3012) or stopping by.
