Everything Went Black Friday
What: Post thanksgiving brunch
Where: Memphis Taproom, Cumberland & Memphis (Northern Liberties)
When: 11:30 AM–3 PM, Friday, November 25
The Taproom’s brunch menu will be available from 11:30–3 PM to accompany dark beers and a full tap listing.
Saturday, November 26
Annual Holiday Open House
What: Holiday party and fundraiser
Where: Philadelphia Brewing Company, 2439 Amber St. (Fishtown)
When: 2–5 PM, Saturday, November 26
Admission is free but it is asked that you bring donations for Flatiron Wildcats – a local organization benefiting stray cats – in the form of blankets, cat food or money.
Winter Beer Fest
What: Winter beer festival
Where: Union Transfer, 10th & Spring Garden (Spring Garden)
When: 1–5 PM and 6–10 PM, Saturday, November 26
Price: $33
This year’s Winter Beerfest features more than 100 brews from around the region and the world, and your entrance fee gains you access to unlimited tastings of all. You can choose the afternoon (1–5 PM) or evening (6–10 PM) session for your four hours of sampling fun.
Tickets are available online or at the Union Transfer Box office.
Sunday, November 27
The Eagles take on the Patriots at Lincoln Financial Field (4:15 PM). Can the Birds build on their effective defense and not-horrible offense from last week? Will Michael Vick be able to complete passes now that he’s not playing with broken ribs?
