Eulogy Belgian Tavern is hosting their second annual Winter beer tasting event serving up more than twenty different seasonal brews from around the world.

Founders Brewing Tap Takeover

What: Tap takeover, toy drive and raffle
Where: 2nd Street Brew House, 2nd & Morris (South Philly)
When: 6 PM--12 AM, Friday, December 16
Price: PAYG

Founders it taking over the taps over at 2nd Street Brew House and with every pint you buy, or unwrapped toy you donate, you receive a raffle ticket for a chance to buy a bottle of Founders Canadian Breakfast Stout. The drawing is at midnight but you do not have to be present to win.


Saturday, December 17

Mad Elf Ugly Sweater Party

What: Ugly sweater Christmas party and cancer benefit
Where: City Tap House, 40th & Walnut (University City)
When: 7--10 PM, Saturday, December 17
Price: $40

It’s likely that you have a horrible multi-colored Christmas sweater in the back of your closet. So put it on and head to City Tap house and help raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society in the spirit of giving. Sponsored by Treog’s Brewing Co., a $40 ticket gets you a three hour open bar, hors d’oeuvres and raffle tickets. Prize giveaways include a City Tap House employee discount for one year and gift baskets.

Where: Devil’s Den, 11th & Ellsworth (South Philly)

Philly’s premier voice on beer, Joe Sixpack, will be there signing copies of his new book “What the Hell am I Drinking?” alongside Shmaltz Brewing owner Jeremy Cowan with his book “Craft Beer Bar Mitzvah”. There will also be a beer tasting going on and a tap listing featuring seasonal brews.
