Bars in Philadelphia Open on New Year's Day

Bars in Philadelphia Open on New Year's Day

The first day of the year offers tipplers an interesting conundrum: after partying the night before (and – to be honest – most of the week before), what should one do on January 1? In Philadelphia, the question is answered for many by a longstanding tradition: the Mummers! Whether you make it to Broad Street to watch the Comics prance by, to the Convention Center to see the Fancies strut their stuff, or over to Two Street to partake in the partying, the Philly New Year's revelry just doesn't die down. Hence, a whole lot of bars are open and ready to greet you. Check our list of open establishments and specials below. Happy New Year, and Happy Recovery!
