Ring in the New Year with Khyber Pass Pub

What: Early start to New Year’s celebrations, New Orleans style
Where: Khyber Pass Pub, 2nd & Chestnut (Old City)
When: 11 AM–2 AM, Friday, December 30
Price: PAYG

In true NOLA fashion, the Khyber is starting the partying a day early, with traditional Southern food and Louisville Lightnings, Classic Mint Juleps, Abita beers, and more to drink.


Saturday, December 31

Saturday is New Year’s Eve in Philadelphia. Have you made plans yet? If not we have an extensive list of events throughout the city to celebrate the passing of 2011; accompanied with more drink specials than you can shake a stick at.

Mummers Parade

What: A hundreds-year-old traditional parade and performance
Where: Broad Street from Oregon Avenue to City Hall (Find a viewing spot on the Avenue of the Arts for best action. Route map PDF.)
When: 10 AM, Sunday, January 1

Whether you make it to Broad Street to watch the Comics prance by, to the Convention Center to see the Fancies strut their stuff, or over to Two Street to partake in the partying, the Philly New Year's revelry just doesn't die down.
