7/31: 2nd Street Festival @ Northern Liberties
This will mark the third annual festival, and they'll be closing down N. 2nd between Germantown and Fairmount for a free block party. We've been promised six blocks of beer gardens, workshops, art, food, and music.
We're told that seven of the local bars will be opening up their own beer gardens, including Bar Ferdinand, North Bowl, Standard Tap, Cantina Dos Segundos, Gunners Run, The Foodery, and El Camino Real. Each bar will be running its own drink specials, so make sure to make your rounds!
As for the music portion, the Phiadelphia Folksong Society has taken care of organization. Expect folk, hip-hop, indie and more across four stages at various times throughout the day. For a full listing of acts, check the schedule here.
