Drink Philly Skillshare Class: Become One With Your Beer

What: Beer class and tasting

Back in September, we held our first-ever class with Skillshare, the “community marketplace for offline classes,” and it was a roaring success. So this spring, we’re doing it again! Register now for Become One With Your Beer: Beer 101 from 7–8:30 PM on Thursday, March 22, to learn everything you need to survive in a  beer-drink-beer world.

The class is only $20 and includes a lesson on how to store and review your beer, terminology, multiple tastings, a Q & A and more.

Where: Granite Hill Restaurant (Museum of Art), 2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway
When: 5–8 PM, Friday, March 23
Price: $65

The dinner takes place 5 PM at Granite Hill, the Stephen Starr restaurant inside the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Reservations are available by phone (215-684-7990) or Open Table.

Where: Khyber Pass Pub, 2nd & Chestnut (Old City)
When: 12 PM–2 AM, Saturday, March 24

Khyber Pass Pub will be tapping the first of its imperial stout collection from 12 PM this Saturday until close. Some beers include: Avery The Czar (11.03%), Mikkeller Black Hole (13.1%), PBC Shackamaximum (10%), Mission Dark Seas (9.8%), Arcadia Imperial Stout (9.5%), Ballast Point Sea Monster (10%), Iron Fist Velvet Glove (9%), Weyerbacher Old Heathen (8%), Dark Horse Plead The 5th (~12%) and more.


Sunday, March 25

Savage Sixtel Sundays - March Madness Edition

What: Beer tasting
Where: Kite & Key, 19th & Callowhill (Fairmount)
When: 7 PM, Sunday, March 25
Price: PAYG

Kite & Key never disappoints with their Savage Sixtel Sundays and will be tapping the first of their rare and delicious brews at 7 PM.
