9:17: Fifth Annual Craft Beer Games
Manayunk Brewery will be hosting its annual Craft Beer Games in their upstairs River Room from 11am-5pm on September 17th. Each participant will receive an event t-shirt, 2 draft beers, and access to lunch and drink specials. There will also be door prizes and live music. Plus, winners will receive medals to commemorate their awesomeness.
The site claims that there are six events set up to challenge you and your teammates based on classic beer games. However, this is not a "chug fest!" The challenges are set up to test your knowledge and skill when it comes to beer. Challenges include:
• Beer Trivia
• Blind Taste Test
• Speed Quarters
• Beer Pong
• Six Pack Builder Challenge
• Sobriety Check Point
You can register for the event at www.rollingbarrel.com or in person at Manayunk Brewery and Restaurant. The fee is $150 per team and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America. The limit for number of teams is 50 and each team will be comprised of 4 members.
