Reservations are going fast for chef Peter Woolsey’s four course prix-fixe meal, celebrating three years for his Bella Vista bistro. The menu features French treats like artichoke and porcini soup and a salad with duck confit. Paired with the $3 drinks, it’s an event not to miss.

Renowned director Ken Burns takes on that sorest of American history subjects, Prohibition, in a three-part, five-and-a-half-hour documentary. The series doesn’t air on PBS until October 2, but on Friday you can attend a free preview screening by the Delaware River at Penn’s Landing.

Turn Wine Into Water - Redux
What: Fundraiser for A Drink for Tomorrow

Last weekend, the “water” part of this event came on a little too strong, so they’re holding it again. Tria partners with A Drink for Tomorrow, a non-profit that raises funds to provide affordable clean water to those who lack it. 50 cents from every glass of Ken Forrester Vineyards purchased will be donated to the charity. On offer are $4 Sauvignon Blanc, $5 Chenin Blanc and $6 Shiraz-Grenache
