The windowed second floor at the corner of Broad and Locust recently underwent a complete makeover. The la-di-da pre-theater spot Upstares at Varalli was retired, and in its place sprouted Perch Pub, a relaxed, unpretentious lounge, focusing on craft beer, fun cocktails and an inexpensive comfort food menu. We recently stopped by to check out the airy roost, and liked what we saw.
