Morgan's Pier (221 N. Columbus Blvd.; 215-279-7134)
Morgan’s Pier sits welcomingly on the Delaware River waterfront. This bar caters to the taste of its customers, as there is live music played by local and international DJs, a dance floor, and ample seating for those wishing to hide their dance moves until they have had a few drinks. For those new to Morgan’s Pier, be sure to make your way towards the left section in the rear of the bar, as it is a wonderful little beer garden area. The beer list is serviceable, but nothing spectacular, and the main draw of Morgan’s Pier is the incredible atmosphere. Every weekend the place is teeming with life, and draws in a great mix of patrons, often times including Philadelphia’s own professional athletes.
