Thursday, March 8

Kraftwork Beer & Jazz Festival, Vol. 1

What: Beer and Jazz fest
Where: Kraftwork, Girard & Montgomery (Fishtown)
When: 5–11 PM, Thursday, March 8
Price: PAYG

Abbaye de Saint Bon-Chien (2010), La Douze (FIrkin 2011) and Le Meule (2011) will be the beers featured. A special menu will be prepared by Chef Lofnik and owner of BFM, Jerome Rabetez, will be visiting.


Friday, March 9

IPA’s Greatest Hits

What: IPA beer fest
Where: Sidecar Bar, 22nd & Christian (Graduate Hospital)
When: 3 PM–Close, March 9-11
Price: PAYG

Each day (Friday to Sunday) has a different IPA  lineup, each comprised of a different 13 brews. A full beer listing (which includes both Plinys and Hopslam) can be found via the Sidecar’s Facebook page.


Saturday, March 10

Craft Beer Express featuring Firestone Walker

What: Craft beer bus tour
Where: Kite & Key (19th & Callowhill), (+10 participating bars)
When: 11 AM–9 PM, Saturday, March 10
Price: Bus seat: $10, then PAYG

Firestone Walker has decided to bring their kegs to kegs to Kite & Key. A $10 bus ticket runs all day at 11 participating bars each with a special event, including: P.O.P.E., Sidecar, Bishop’s Collar, The Institute, Johnny Brenda’s, Jose Pistolas, Race St. Cafe, Brauhaus Schmitz, Kraftwork, Devil’s Den & The Kite and Key. Sunday, March 11

The Brewer’s Plate 2012

What: Beer and local fair
Where: National Constitution Center, 525 Arch St.
When: 6–9 PM (General Admission), 5-9 (VIP)
Price: $65 (before 3/10), $75 (on 3/10 or after), $125 (VIP)
