MGK Brew Blast on the Battleship NJ, 9/17
A $45 ticket gets you a tour of the ship (usually $20), plus all the food and drink you can handle. Over 50 ale purveyors will be tapping their wares, including Lagunitas, Magic Hat, Sixpoint, Troegs, Weyerbacher, Yards and more. Expect many great autumn brews: Great Lakes Brewing Co. will showcase their Oktoberfest, as will Flying Fish and Harpoon. Saranac and Brooklyn Brewery are bringing their pumpkin ales, and Woodchuck will pour a pumpkin cider.
Dietz & Watson will be providing sustenance in the form of Oktoberfest franks and sausages, along with artisinal cheeses and other snacks. A live band will be playing under the expansive tented deck, so you fulfill your long-burning desire to rock out next to massive marine artillery. From Philly, you can take the RiverLink Ferry from Penn’s Landing across to Camden and then walk over to the ship, or parking is just $10 at the Susquehanna Bank Center during the event.
Drink Philly will be on board, at full craft-beer-attention. Get your tickets here; we look forward to seeing you on the river.
