Booze in Review: 9/3-9/9
This week was short but action-packed, as we kissed summer good-bye and sent the kids back to school. Fun events are starting to happen in droves, from beerfests to Oktoberfests to autumn wine dinners and more. And in exciting news for us – thanks to Twitter’s trademark policy – we finally scored the Twitter handle @DrinkPhilly (as opposed to @drinkphillycom).

Labor Day Treat: Watermelon Beer Popsicles – Combine 21st Amendment Hell or High Watermelon Beer and real fruit for a cool picnic treat
Rum Bar’s Adam Kanter Could Be Tommy Bahama’s Rumologist – Voting is over, the winner will be announced on Monday
New Media Unplugged with Technically Philly & two.one.five Magazine – Drink Philly took part in this indie publishing meet, in a studio totally tricked out by Vitamin Water
Irreverent Fermenting: Weyerbacher Blasphemy Ale – Bruce reviews this punch-packing quadrupel
Late Night Wine Happy Hour at McCrossen’s Tavern – Stephanie Bourgeois was in the house to showcase portfolio wines
Drinking Wine Linked to Lower Weight Gain – Does wine help cells metabolize fat?
