Bars in Philadelphia Open on Thanksgiving

The last Thursday of November for some can be the best day of the year, and for others, the most dreaded. Depending on how you do Thanksgiving, you may enjoy cooking all day and relaxing with a refreshment afterward, you might have someone handle all the cooking for you, or you might be looking for a place to hide. We’re not here to judge. In fact, here is a list of places for you to wet your whistle after getting your gobble on:

Bierstube: Bar open 5 PM–2 AM. Kitchen open 6 PM–10 PM, normal menu and happy hour specials.

Bishop’s Collar: Open at 7 PM; drinks only

Bottle Bar East: Open for takeout starting at 12 PM; the bar and kithcen open at 6 PM.

Bridget Foy’s: Reservations from 1 PM–8:30 PM; Traditional Roast Turkey Dinner ($26) plus special selections from the fall menu.

Cavanaugh’s Rittenhouse: Open at 3 PM. NFL Specials- $3.50 Miller Light, $3.50 Yuengling Lager

Cavanaugh’s Headhouse: Open at 3:30 PM. NFL Specials- $3.50 Bud Light, $3.50 Yuengling Lager

Con Murphy’s: Breakfast 8–10 AM, Brunch 10 AM–1:30 PM, Regular Bar Menu 1:30–3 PM, Dinner seatings are at 3 PM, 5 PM, and 7 PM. See their website for additional details.

Devil’s Den: Open at 6:00 PM; Pumpkin beers will be on special.

Dirty Frank’s: Open at 7 PM

Eulogy: Bar open 6 PM–2 AM. Kitchen open 6 PM–10 PM, normal menu. Reservations filling fast at eulogybar.com.

Grey Lodge Pub: Open at 8 PM; drinks only

London Grill: Thanksgiving buffet 2–7 PM. Reservation Only. Bar and Cafe will be open for walk-ins.

Pub on Passyunk East: Open 4 PM; They'll be playing the Eagles Vs. Cowboys game with the sound on and offering a special Thanksgiving Day food platter

Revolution House: Open 11:30 AM–9 PM for dinner and drinks.

Sassafras Bar: Open at 5 PM for drinks and dinner. 

South Philadelphia Tap Room: Open at 6 PM; full menu available.

Supper: Open 1–7 PM; Three courses and a family style side to share between three people: Adults $59, Children under 12 $29. Reservations required. See their website for additional details.

Twisted Tail: Open 11 AM–10 PM Eat-in or takeout a Thanksgiving Dinner ($42). See their website for additional details.
