2018 is almost over, but that doesn’t mean the party is stopping anytime soon! Whether you prefer a decadent tasting menu, dancing the night away, or just want to watch some fireworks, Philadelphia’s bars and restaurants got you covered with a diverse lineup of events.  
 
Enjoy a special chef’s tasting menu filled with lots of delicious meats at this Center City restaurant. The three course dinner costs $65 and if you want to stay from 10 PM-1 AM add on the open bar package for another $65. Make your reservations here(2034 Chestnut St.)
 
Concourse Dance Bar
From 9 PM - 2 AM, dance the night away at Concourse Dance Bar. For $90 per person, enjoy an open bar, unlimited hot dogs, live music, and more. Tickets can be purchased here(1635 [Back Entrance] Market St.)
 
There’s something for everyone at Dim Sum House in University City. For just $35 enjoy a five course dinner with a complimentary champagne toast. For another $35 add four cocktails to the mix. Celebrate the New Year 57 floors in the sky with amazing views of the city’s fireworks. This fancy black tie affair includes an open bar from 9 PM-2 AM and hors d’oeuvres. Mainstay Independent
Philadelphia's newest brewery, Mainstay Independent, is hosting a New Year's Eve bash from 9 PM to 1 AM. $45 per person gets you an open bar, light bites, a midnight toast with one of the brewery's brand new beers, and a great riverfront spot for the fireworks. Follow your Drag Dreams at this Center City taco spot on New Year’s Eve. General admission tickets are $60 include the show, first two rounds of drinks, passed hors d’oeuvres and a DJ until 1 AM. VIP tickets are $100 and include a table reservation, DIY marg bar, a taco dinner and everything else GA gets. Doors open at 8 PM with the drag show performances beginning at 9 PM. Looking for a NYE party that won’t break the bank? Milkboy is offering a New YEar’s party with drink specials, a free champagne toast, two DJs and absolutely no cover all night. (1100 Chestnut St.)
 
Head to this Townsend tapas bar for a $65 four course menu that includes antipasto, choices of tuna crudo, raw oysters, shrimp, entree choices of monkfish, crab rice or waygu culotte and dessert options like churros and Basque cheesecake. Add on a wine and sherry pairing for $50. (121 Walnut St.)
 
Start your NYE off right with buck a shuck happy hour from 5 PM-7 PM at the bar at Oyster House. An Italian delight awaits at Panorama in the Penn’s View Hotel in Old City. They’ll be offering three seatings: 4 PM, 6:30 PM, and 9 PM. The first two seatings cost $65 per person for a three course menu and the third seating costs $95 for a four course menu and complimentary sparkling toast at midnight. Ring in the new year with a unique delicacy from this South Street southern restaurant. For one night only they’ll be offering fried chicken and caviar which includes a fried half chicken, paddlefish and orange tobiko caviars, bbq sauce, chive biscuits, and cucumbers all for $50. Wash it all down with a special cocktail like the Violet Hour (gin, lemon, violet liqueur, and sparkling wine). (1516 South St.)
 
What better way to begin a new year than with a free champagne toast, drink specials and no cover fees! Happy hour will be from 5 PM-7 PM as usual with $2 off drafts, $1 cans/bottles, and half off wings and cauliflower. It’s also burger Monday so all burgers are half priced. (2400 S 19th St.)
 
If you’re excited by no cover, no reservations, and free party favors this fun South Street bar is perfect for your NYE. They’ll have a full menu until 1:30 AM, plus half off drafts from 10 PM-11 PM and special NYE cocktails like the Midnight Rose (sparkling wine, Aperol, orange bitters, and rose syrup) for only $7. Headhouse Square’s southern-inspired bar is hosting a Masquerade Party from 9 PM-1 AM.The night includes live music from the Mikey Junior Band and burlesque performances throughout the evening. Grab your best mask and head to this underground bar for an Eyes Wide Shut Masquerade party this New Year’s Eve. The attire is black-tie, and the party will run from 9 PM-2 AM with a premium open bar, live music, and appetizers. Have yourself a no frills New Year’s Eve at this No Libs brewery who’ll be serving up $3 handcrafted beers from 8 PM-midnight.
