Sixpoint Tap Takeover with live music

What: Tap takeover
Where: Milkboy, 11th & Chestnut (Center City)

Sixpoint Brewery will be tapping  their best brews downstairs starting at 5 PM. Admission is free during happy hour with live music from Outside the Box. At 9:30 more beer will be tapped upstairs with a CD release party from High Fidelity Distribution Co. with a cover of $8. Tickets and more information are available here.

Christmas Beer Extravaganza

Kite & Key will be tapping a variety of Christmas beers for this holiday event.


Saturday, December 10

Valley Forge Beer Festival

What: Beer festival
Where: Philadelphia Expo Center, 100 Station Ave. Oaks, PA
When: 12:30–4:30 PM OR 5:30–9 PM, Saturday, December 10
Price: $40 in advance, $10 for designated drivers

The producers of springtime’s always-sold-out Philadelphia Craft Beer Festival are launching an autumn counterpart this year. On December 10, nearly 50 breweries from around the country and the world will converge on the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA for the first-ever Valley Forge Beer Fest.

Tickets are available for the afternoon or the evening sessions and allows you unlimited samples from more than 100 different beers from 50 different breweries.  As well as beer seminars ranging from beer chemistry to myths and history.

Sixpoint Brunch at Garces Trading Company

What: Special four-course beer pairing brunch menu and items
Where: Garces Trading Company, 1111 Locust St.
When: 11 AM–4 PM
Price: $25 per person

This special $25 four-course brunch offering pairs each bite with one of Sixpoint’s craft beers. You can also choose to order any of the special matchups a la carte, to go with selections off the regular menu. Bonus: also available will be custom collab brew Otis Oatmeal Stout, Garces Reserva Version – Sixpoint's signature stout Otis infused with Garces Trading Company's Reserva Coffee.

12 Beers of Christmas

What: 12 days of beer specials
Where: Perch Pub, 1345 Locust St.
When: All day, Sunday, December 11
Price: PAYG

Sunday is day 6 of Perch Pub’s ongoing “12 Beers of Christmas”. The particular brewbrew on Sunday will be Santa’s Private Reserve Ale from Rogue Brewery (Red Ale, 6% ABV). Perch Pub’s holiday celebration goes until the 17th; so be sure to check out all the other delicious brews.
